The Provincial Tax Shop was acquired as an addition to the existing practice in August 2004 and has grown substantially in the last eighteen months. It offers clients the traditional accounting and taxation services. We can prepare accounts from your own records whether these be manual or computerised.
We also understand that some smaller businesses only maintain their sales invoices and receipts for expenses and we can deal with these in the same professional manner. The Provincial Tax Shop has a significant number of CIS subcontractors as clients and we offer these clients the same efficient service to enable them to obtain any income tax repayment that might be due as soon as possible after their year end.
Once the accounts have been prepared, we are able to produce your self assessment return and will be filing online for the 2006 Returns. The Chancellor has announced in his 2006 Budget that the filing deadlines for self assessment returns are to be amended. From 2007/2008, instead of submission dates being 30 September and 31 January, these will be changed to 30 September for the filing of paper returns and 30 November for online filing. We believe that this will put more pressure on businesses and increase the already growing number of penalties for late filing. We aim to ensure that our clients will meet the new filing deadlines.
